In the kitchen...

Who says family pictures can't have CHARACTER? I loved shooting for this uber-cool family. We spend most of our time in our houses and specifically, our kitchens. So, like this family, we used their kitchen (and bedroom) for some fun shots. When planning your family photo session, think about what makes your family unique, what makes them feel loved...what makes them feel like a family! Then, let's work on capturing that emotion!

I met this young lady almost one year ago at our first shoot together. I remembered how struck I was by her poise at such a young age. She has such a sense of self-confidence and style and I loved photographing her.

The Soda Shop

 

I love the idea of adding a touch of nostalgia into my photo shoots, especially the sessions I do with kids. They have a great time playing off the props and location. I have a great time just playing off of them. Their smiles and naturalness just blow me away. Join Eli and Claire for a look back at a 1950s soda shop.
