Nooshin & David's Engagement Portraits

I thought for sure we would beat the rain ... but nope! We hovered in doors a bit longer to wait out the rain and then ventured outside for some more images.  Turns out I like these images of Nooshin and David with the misty feel of the rain a lot better. I think it lends itself to the feel of their romance. They make a very handsome couple and I cannot wait to shoot their wedding later this year in St. Louis. Congrats you two. See ya soon!

Jessica's Bridal Portrait

One word: Color! We tried to get as much of it as possible in her bridal portraits. She wanted something fun, playful and also interesting and dramatic lighting. I am posting a few of my favorites. But I have lots more from today's session. It's going to be really hard for her to decide which "look" she prefers...the birdcage veil (which she purchased at Circle Park Bridal in Addison) or the cathedral length veil. She looks amazing in both of them!

Beautiful Brianna

I had the pleasure of photographing Beautiful Brianna's senior portraits! I was thrilled with them. I am editing them and just had to stop and put together a little montage of our hard work today. I met Brianna almost a year ago. She was the darling little sister of one of my other beautiful brides. I was so honored when she and her mom asked me to photograph little sister. Isn't she gorgeous! Family Portrait

The Arboretum is always a great place to shoot. No matter what time of year, it always provides a fun backdrop, especially for family photos. These are my sister-in-law's relatives. Luckily the weather held and we managed to get some fun stuff before the hail storm! It was their first time visiting the Arboretum and they loved it. Me too!
