Today's E-Session

Fun one today...despite the cold, north wind! I think this couple warmed up nicely though. Love, love, love her bright, sunny yellow peacoat. Such a fun couple and we'll have a great time shooting them at their wedding in April.

Circle Park Bridal

I had a great time FINALLY meeting Andrea Porter. We have known of each for a couple years. But I recently got in to see her at her splendid Circle Park Bridal in Addison. She offers off-the-rack bridal gowns, veils, (including those stunning bird cage veils) accessories and expertise. 

She carries quite a variety and sizes 2-16. And the prices are amazing. Since I wasn't in the market for a gown (...yet!) I enjoyed perusing the two-story showroom admiring the many styles of her gowns. This is the first stop brides need to make on their bridal gown safari.

I have had several brides purchase their lovely gowns from Circle Park Bridal. They have all had such wonderful comments to share about their experience there. And all have pointed out how outgoing and accommodating Andrea's staff is. When you go, please tell them I sent you.

M&M Special Events Open House

I have known of M&M Special Events for a couple of years now and even worked with them on various weddings and events (like this one from a recent wedding at The Rosewood Crescent Hotel in Dallas.) But tonight's open house at their Carrollton location blew me away. Yes, I knew they rented linens, table settings, and designed rooms but I had NO idea how extensive their other rentals are. If you have a theme, they can accommodate it. If you have a color scheme, they can fulfill your needs. One of the coolest parts was just traipsing through their gigantic showrooms looking at all the props for theme parties and events. You could spend all day in there. Need a canopy, tent, popcorn machine, Mardi Gras masks? M&M can help you out. 

I also had the pleasure of meeting other event and wedding vendors and got to sample some delectable hors d' oeuvres. Check 'em out! Tell them I sent you!

Kathryn & Richard

Kathryn and Richard exchanged vows today. Congratulations! And on Valentine's Day. I think that is really romantic. They had the cutest little attendants, her nephews, who did such a super job with the rings and holding her bouquet during the ceremony in Plano. A very simple and elegant wedding with just immediate family members made for some beautiful pix. I loved Kathryn's dress too. She said she walked into Circle Park Bridal in Addison and knew it was exactly what she wanted. And she had only GREAT things to say about the staff there. Here's to a GREAT life together Kathryn and David. Thanks for letting me a part of your special day.

Rosie's Bridal Portraits

Rosie has two looks...stunning and gorgeous! Her look shifts from uber glamour (like the shots inside the studio) to girl-next-door (when she pops that huge smile)! The weather held and Rosie, her MOH and I headed downtown Dallas for some fun exterior shots. I adored her dress!

You might have heard of a little television show Extreme Makeover Home Edition on ABC? Well...Meet Tinahmaree Antoon. She is auditioning to be a host on that very show. She's a talented designer in the Metroplex. When the show came to tape in Keller, Tinahmaree impressed the producers with her talent, her network of design industry contacts and her amazing personality. She needed some headshots to show the producers her versatile style and look. Today, we tackled that along with her superb makeup/hair designer, Sara Emberson. I put together a "comp card" with my favorites from the day. You can Tinahmaree's work on the March 1 and 15th, 2009 episodes.
