Happy Family

Shot a fun family portrait today in Flower Mound. They won a silent auction donation of a FREE portrait session. Silent auction donations are something I enjoy doing because it serves two main purposes: 1) It helps me give back to the community by donating a service to raise money for a charity and 2) I get to meet great folks like this family. The little one is just eight weeks old, and I do believe this was his first portrait session. He did such a great job! When he opened his eyes, he would look straight at the lens. He was so smart. So, these are some of my faves from today.

Ana Laura and Omar

You know the old cliche about being as beautiful on the inside as on the outside? Well, Ana Laura is text book inside/outside beauty. I had the pleasure of meeting Ana Laura in June 2007. I was shooting another Texas bride at the magnificent Grand Velas Resort and Spa in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. She liked my work and asked me to shoot her own wedding. A year-and-a-half later, I am back in Mexico, honored to photograph Ana Laura and Omar's boda. This truly was a beautiful celebration and I am so grateful to have been able to meet their friends and families. I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

Allison and Ben

What a great couple. Allison and I worked on her beautiful bridal portraits a couple of months ago. And I was so impressed with her artistic flair. She knew what she wanted and came in with some great ideas. And at her wedding, it was the same thing. She was full of enthusiasm and really wanted some great pix of her wedding day. She and Ben make such an adorable couple and could not be any sweeter. It was such a privilege to work with them. Congrats you two!

Today's Bridal Portrait

A little Grace Kelly...a little 1940s Hollywood...and wow! Isn't she gorgeous. She'll be getting married next month and I cannot wait. What a beautiful bride she'll be. She has such a great attitude and she truly is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. See you soon!
